Paramount Home Entertainment has just formally announced that this series is finally coming out on DVD.

Finally!

I am so excited!

I can't wait to buy Season 1 and Season 2. It's going to be great seeing Micki, Ryan, and Jack anytime I want to. I love their friendship, and they made an AWESOME team! Very Happy

This is great to hear. I have not seen an episode since the original airings in the 1980's. I got the SciFi channel just after they stopprd airing it, and I don't get the Chiller channel. This time I will not miss out. I'm going to pre-order it today. I hope it lives up to my fond memories. I was a teenager watching it on Saturday nights. Micki was my dream girl back then and the show was pretty scary for TV. What fun!!!

Hey CBS/Paramount just released the official cover art for season 1.

I got the news from the great people at TVShowsonDVD.com. It's good, but not what I expected. What does everyone else think? I would have loved a cover that included the main cast.

I am even more excited about this wonderful series being on DVD (well, the first season anyways) than I was when Chiller started airing episodes last year! I do DVR each episode when it airs on Chiller, so I have seen every episode, but having the DVDs will be better (no commercials to fast forward!).

I like the DVD cover, but also wish the cast was on it. This is okay since it is being sold online, but if I saw this DVD cover in a store I would assume it was for one of the FRIDAY THE 13th movies until I got a closer look.

Glad to see the cast on the back. Can't wait for the DVD's to show up at my door.

But I am a little disappointed with the lack of special features. How about some interviews or cast commentary? Maybe we will get some extras on season 2 if the first season sells well.

I'm glad to see the cast, as well. There are even a couple of cursed items on the back too. Let's make sure this season set sells well enough to bring on season 2... Everyone buy it! Laughing

The back cover looks great! I wish Paramount would advertise this release on television. Anchor Bay certainly advertised the DVD for Halloween: 25 Years of Terror on t.v. A LOT. I think it helped sell big time.

I have from a good source that Best Buy will have season one on sale for $34.99 starting on Tuesday 9/23/08. This is the best price I have seen advertised (unless you order online). Just wanted to give a heads up to those of you that need to buy it bright and early on Tuesday morning when it comes out.
